Key Responsibilities

As an English Teacher you will:

  • Teach English Language & Literature across KS3 and KS4 in line with Edexcel specification
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire ambition and curiosity.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constrictive feedback and interventions.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Person Specification

We are looking for an English teacher with:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Specialism in English Language & Literature (or closely related subject).
  • Proven experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred).
  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
  • Reflective, proactive, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
